\nMore and more of us in the ARTS … are left to lament … the absence of … what I call … those SPECIAL CALLS. The ones that came from those who also worked at making merry for others. They’re gone. But memories of them … linger on. Thus Hol-i-Days need NOT be … Lone-ly-Days. But are we ever really alone?<\/p>\n

To wit … 2015 was the passing of BB KING aka POPPA BB. Many of you … have also learned the hard way … that GRIEF … is a sign of LOVE. So I must give thanks … to those of you who STILL send us … notes, prayers and good vibes. Such thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated.

\nIn answer … BB KING was in our life for over 50 YEARS. He was more than just a friend. To Dennis he was … as BB appointed himself … “DENNIS’ SECOND FATHER”. When BB asked … to play PRETEND PARENT aka POPPA BB … he added … “With NO disrespect to your REAL FATHER”. Then he turned to me and said, “Leazze, I understand what Dennis went through … EARLY ON. But I can be here for him … FROM NOW ON!” And he was. Dennis had POPPA BB … in his life … longer than he had his REAL DAD. Since 2015 we ALL have “ANGEL BB” … Forever.

\n2011 VIDEO from Youtube (link is below) … shows BB … being the ever playful … little kid in a big kid body. But this time he’s being POPPA BB relishing that above-mentioned role as “DENNIS’ SECOND FATHER”. He’s seen looking stage left … asking for ADOPTED-SON-DENNIS … to “Bring your handsome self out here “. Then for DC to … “LAY A LITTLE SUGAR ON ME” … aka … GIVE A KISS.
